I suddenly became aware of these incessant thoughts and the wild circles churning around and around.

Perhaps it was the weather, or perhaps it was the heights to which my mind (and anxiety) were reaching in it’s overdrive of imagination ( where will I be at 88 years old? Will I have anyone to help me? What is the meaning of life? Is this all that there is?). Yet this particular afternoon was different. Looking back, I now realize I would do almost anything to avoid being alone and London was the perfect place to be, with its cosmopolitan population, abundance of cultural offerings and never-ending calendar of things to do. Endless opportunities to avoid being alone with myself and my thoughts. My busy and anxious mind was on overdrive ruminating about the future and thinking about the past.

On this Sunday afternoon I found myself home alone, a rarity with my packed engagement calendar and full life of travel and an ambitious career. It wasn’t a day of any specific importance but it was one that would have a significant impact on my life and its unfolding. Will you join me?Īlmost a decade ago, I was sitting in my apartment in London on a Sunday afternoon. To feel the courage to ask difficult questions and see beyond the patterns we are living in. It asks us to stand in integrity with ourselves and in our external world. This work asks us to clarify what’s really important to us. In order to create change: sustainable & transformational change, we have to stop, pause and reflect in order to understand what is limiting us from what we desire and then be able to choose differently resulting in different outcomes. What are you avoiding? What are you not paying attention to? What data is there that you are not wanting to face? What mental models and conditioning beliefs are running the show, leading to the results you are experiencing? Inner alignment comes from having the courage to ask where you (our your teams) are not in alignment. Our core philosophy holds that personal development and leadership development come together to form the work of inner alignment and that this work impacts a multitude of dimensions in life: from improving group and family dynamics, to enhanced quality of relationships, feelings of empowerment and confidence, unleashing creativity and innovation and the ability to experience life with a greater sense of ease, grace, flow, joy & possibility. Here’s a glimpse into my personal journey so that you understand what underpins our philosophies and approaches. But it’s only part of the story.Ĭhoosing a guide & coach is a deeply personal one and there is no one-size fits all.
